With as bad as this administration has been concerning jobs, scandals, weak economy, Obamacare, soaring debt and the constant loss of constitutional rights, no wonder potential GOP presidential candidates are jockeying for early positions for the next presidential race. And I don’t blame them. If they made a desktop calendar counting down to Obama’s last day, I would buy it! (Hey, there’s an idea.)
But can we please learn from the advanced dim-witted acts of idiocy from the last election? Please?
I have two rules so far, I’m certain more will come, for those deciding to seek out the most powerful office in our country, putting aside the FISA court, of course.
1. Can you please surround yourself with people who are above reproach.
2. If you want to attack other potential candidates in your party, question their policies and why they have supported said policies. Don’t attack them on a personal level because it makes you look petty and stupid, and quite frankly, a lot like the left
As far as being above reproach, media from both sides of the aisle are having a field day with the news over Senator Rand Paul’s close aid and social media director Jack Hunter who was a South Carolina radio shock jock known as the “Southern Avenger.” Great.
